Gionee has launched variety of smartphones powered by Android OS. Gionee introduced Marathon series known for excellent battery backup.
Now Gionee is set to launch Marathon M5 at Bangalore, in India on 24th Nov, 2015, which is already launched in China in June, 2015.
In a survey conducted by Gionee about the Android smartphones, it is found that users are expecting more battery life. So, to reach the expectations of the users, it has developed the Marathon M5 powered with two 3010mAh batteries which brings the total up to 6,020 mAh dual battery and can be used for four days.
Gionee Marathon M5 will be priced between Rs. 20,000 and 23,000 and the company has also entered into a partnership with an e-commerce major for selling the phone online.
Gionee is aChina-based Gionee was established in 2002. Besides India, the brand also has presence in countries such as Vietnam, Taiwan, Myanmar, Thailand and the Middle East. Gionee is a Chinese company with a strong offline retail presence in India, eschewing the trend of going online-only. The company has launched several Android smartphones in the low- and mid-end segments.
